About Earth Flow Australia
Periods are natural. Shouldn’t period care be too? Most mainstream pads are up to 90% plastic — the equivalent of throwing away four plastic bags with every pad. They can take 500 years or more to break down, long after we’re gone. And because they’re made with synthetic fibres and chemicals, they often cause irritation or discomfort for the very people who rely on them. At Earth Flow Australia, we’re changing that. Our pads are made from bamboo fibre, one of the most sustainable plants on the planet. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on Earth, needs no pesticides, and very little water. Its fibres are naturally soft, breathable, and highly absorbent — able to hold up to three times more liquid than cotton. That means every pad you choose is: * Kinder to your body (no plastics, no toxins) * Kinder to the planet (biodegradable, sustainable) We’re on a mission to make eco-friendly period care the norm, not the niche. By switching to bamboo fibre pads, you’re not just making a healthier choice for yourself — you’re helping reduce thousands of tonnes of plastic waste for future generations. Because when comfort, care, and sustainability flow together, change begins.
Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on Earth, capable of growing almost a metre in a single day. It needs no pesticides and very little water, making it one of the most sustainable crops available. Bamboo fibre is naturally soft, breathable, and highly absorbent, holding more liquid than cotton while reducing irritation. Most importantly, bamboo fibre is biodegradable — so unlike conventional pads that can take over 500 years to break down, our pads return to the earth naturally.
